Models share the plan allowance; rows are not additive. Tokens include cache. Values are usage estimates.

How these values are estimated

Rows include sample extrapolations, source reports and model-ratio estimates; not every row is a full-cycle measurement. Five hours is a short window; weekly values may be extrapolated from quota percentages or window counts. Where weekly values exist, the average month uses weekly × 52 ÷ 12 and is not a measured full month.

Tokens include cache; input/output mix changes the API equivalent. API equivalents use recorded usage and reference rates for comparison, not actual bills or guaranteed allowances. Expand each plan for its sample conditions and sources; missing model data is not filled in.

How to compare these allowances

Which Claude model is compared here?

All three plans currently show Opus 5.5. The monthly fee belongs to the subscription; tokens and API equivalents describe the corresponding usage samples. Tasks, cache mix and observation dates still affect the results. These are not fixed limits for every account.

Why do token totals and API equivalents differ so much?

Usage includes cache reads. Cached input, fresh input and output have different rates. Reusing long cached contexts can produce large token totals. Read tokens and dollars together, and expand the sources to inspect the sample mix.

Does reaching the five-hour limit exhaust the week?

The short window and weekly window are separate limits. An exhausted session does not mean the week is exhausted; an exhausted weekly allowance is not restored by waiting for the next short window alone. The table separates these periods and leaves missing records blank.
